Relationship between Feedback of Teachers and Student Achievements in the Subject of English at the Secondary Level

This study aims to explain the relationship between feedback given by teachers and student achievement in the English subject at the secondary level in Pakistan. The sample of the study comprises 260 students selected conveniently from the 10th-grade secondary schools in Wah Cantt, Pakistan. This study was descriptive in nature in which a cross-sectional investigation was conducted and the data were collected through a questionnaire. Statistical techniques like Pearson correlation, mean, and median were used for the interpretation of collected data. A significant relationship was found from the findings of the study, between feedback given by the teachers on the assigned task in English to the student at the secondary level. This study recommends arranging training sessions for teachers to generate awareness amongst them so that they can use feedback techniques effectively in the classroom to make the instructional process more effective and productive. Thus, the study is a significant one as it is used to spread awareness about the use of effective teaching strategies.
