From flipped to double flipped is a journey of taking the flipped classroom from classroom implementation to making it a part of the teachers’ professional development training programmes. With this concept, it is held that teachers may get more knowledge, competence, and expertise not only in their actual classroom practices but also, in their professional development. For the current study, secondary school teachers were provided with the opportunity to experience how the flipped classroom works. A three-day double flipped PD training workshop was designed by flipping the training workshop itself. The participants consulted an e-book before attending the workshop session. During the session, the focus was on applying the concepts through hands-on practice. The findings indicated that the Double Flipped idea proved to be an effective strategy for preparing the teachers regarding the flipped classroom. The participants suggested to make the flipped classroom a part of teachers’ professional development training programmes.
