Abstract

The study was designed to be a Gender-based analysis of change management at university level in AJ&K. The objectives of the study (i) To find out the prevailing change management at university level; (ii) To compare the gender-based analysis of change management at university level. The population of the study was 72 male and female teachers. The Sample consisted of 37 male and female teachers. A stratified random sampling technique was used for collection of samples. This study was quantitative and descriptive in nature. A survey method was adopted to collect the data. The researcher drew a survey research and for this, one questionnaire was designed for collecting the data respectively. However, validity of research instrument repeatedly checked by the researcher. The seven dimensions of change management were strategy, structure, system style, staff, and skills and shared value. Each dimension had six statements. Mean used for to identify prevailing practices of change management. The results of this study show that style and shared values of change management are slightly better than strategy, structure, system and skills. However, all values of change management are existed but staff and share values are high compared to others. T test is used to compare the gender-based analysis of change management at university level. It was concluded that there is a significance difference between change management regarding male and female at university level. From the study and related conclusions, the researcher recommends further research in the area of sector-based analysis of change management at university level.
