The Journal of Contemporary Trends and Issues in Education (JCTIE) is an online international, open access, double -blind peer reviewed journal that is published twice a year. The Journal of Contemporary Trends and Issues in Education accepts original articles on creative and innovative ways to explore the recent educational trends in the global and local arena, issues pertaining to the practices, policies, pedagogies, and research in education. The JCTIE welcomes original research articles, research reviews, case studies, and book reviews in the field of education utilizing qualitative, quantitative, theoretical, and mixed-method techniques.

The aim of JCTIE is to promote the evaluative, integrative, theoretical, and methodological research on contemporary trends and issues in education. It offers opportunities to research scholars and practitioners to share their innovative research findings, theoretical and conceptual developments, and scholarly discussions which have practical implications in the field of Education. The JCTIE publishes bi-annually. The research scope/areas include, but are not limited to:-

Type of Publication

The journal considers following types of scholarly work for publication in the field of Education: 
1. Empirical Research Articles: original research in any of the sub areas of Education field.

  1. Reviews: Reviews of recent developments, policies, discoveries, improvements, theories, methodologies and ideas in the field of Education.
  2. Systemetic Literature Review / Meta Analysis: Literature reviewes and meta-analysis of all types are encouraged that can related to the themese and sub-themes of Journal.

Peer Review Process:

As the first step in the review process, a paper will be checked for the similarity index and only papers with less than 15% of similarity will be processed further. However, there will be zero tolerance for plagiarized content. A full double-blind refereeing process will be used following the steps below:

  • JCTIE will accept original manuscripts in the field of education for the review process.
  • Initially, the editors will assess the submitted manuscript for match / mismatch with the scope of the journal, quality of content, formatting of the paper. Only manuscripts that meet the general guidelines of the journal will be processed further.
  • Before the referees' review, the editor may consult the experts where necessary.
  • After the editorial decision, the manuscript will be forwarded to two reviewers (national and international), who are experts in their fields. The reviewers will assess the paper for novelty of the idea, relevance, and overall quality of the manuscript. If the two reviewers could not deverlope a consensus on the acceptance of the menuscrupt, third reviewer will be consulted.
  • The reviewers' recommendations will determine whether a paper is accepted / accepted subject to minor modifications / subject to resubmission with significant changes / not accepted.
  • For papers needing revisions, changes, the reviewers will be asked for another review to ensure that the quality of the revised paper is acceptable.
  • The decision regarding the acceptance of the paper will be based on the reviewers' comments.
