This paper is based on a critical discourse analysis of gender discrimination in PunjabText Board's 3rd and 4th grade ESL textbooks. All public schools and some private institutions teach these texts. For this purpose, a content analysis technique was used to check for gender discrimination in the given materials, utilizing various elements such as tokens, insertions, extractions, titles, nouns, and pronouns. Using AntConc 3.2.4, the content was examined. According to the findings, the material portrayed men as having supremacy over women. These results lead to the conclusion that the provided materials include gender prejudice, which is manifesting in the actual world. This research suggests that men and women should be equally represented.
